After a career in the corporate world, Alfonso leaned into what had always driven him: a genuine interest in people — in their motivations, their challenges, and their growth.
Today, he’s a coach who brings presence, deep listening, and lived experience to every conversation.
Whether working in English or Spanish, Alfonso helps members gain clarity, reconnect with what matters most, and move forward with purpose.

What inspired you to become a coach?
"I was wondering what to do after leaving the corporate world, and I started paying attention to my interest in being with people and really getting to know them. Then I realized that I had always been interested in understanding the real motivations of the people I had worked with. That’s when I started thinking about the possibility of becoming a coach — someone whose professional role is to accompany people as they work toward their goals, become happier than they are, and constantly question themselves about where they’re going and why."
What skills do you bring to the coaching world?
"I would love to bring my skills: listening, being present, and helping people improve and gain a better understanding of their own lives. I would also like to bring my experience — from my own life (both personal and professional), and from what I learn every day through coaching others."
Which topics come up most frequently in your coaching?
“Professional wishes, achievements, conflicts, discomforts. The most interesting part is to help my clients understand they are just behaving as human beings, wherever they play.”
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from coaching others?
“Humility is a great master. We are only accompanying others—they are the real changers of their lives. We are merely witnesses to the exception.”
Can you tell us about your favorite moment throughout your coaching career? “There is no “one” moment, but many. Every single time I have finished a session with my client having changed their perspective, having experienced an insightful moment and being sure it was worth the time spent together, then and for the future!”
What advice would you give someone starting their journey as a coach? "To be properly trained, attend a good school, dedicate time and passion. Coaching is a sensitive profession, and we are handling very precious material. Also, as a personal recommendation, I would say, “learn to manage your expectations”.
What’s your favorite book, podcast, or movie related to personal development? "There are many books and movies, in fact I am always “hungry” about films, TV series, etc., and I am always reading several books at a time; this is normal for someone that has many (and different) interests... time is my problem!"
