What inspired you to become a coach?
"I became a coach gradually, step by step, starting as a teacher, then transitioning to a professional workshop and group facilitator, and finally becoming a certified professional coach. Participants from various workshops would approach me after classes to ask if I could assist them in one-on-one development. I started offering individual interventions and noticed high satisfaction and a sense of fulfilment. A turning moment, however, occurred when I experienced a deep post-surgery depression and launched myself in pro bono support for women in crisis. Today, I make my living from coaching and coaching inspires my life."
What is your unique coaching style?
"First of all, I'm a silent listener, very calm and peaceful. Second, I feel pleasure when I'm a coach. My clients say they find sessions pleasurable even if they have to reflect hard on challenging topics. Finally, I’m authentic. I bring my personality, intellect and experience to the game."
What skills do you bring to the coaching world?
"Listening to that creates a sense of assistance and support. For many years I’ve been developing ideas about how to use clients' photos during coaching. I teach coaches and other mental health professionals about the power of personal photos in coaching. I introduce specialists in the secrets of photography-as-communication and biography-based reflection. My courses have been awarded for CCE units by the ICF. "
Which coaching question, model or tool brings the most insight? "There is no one answer. Each coaching experience is born in a client’s context. I like proposing to my clients to choose and bring to the session their “Most Important Photo”. It serves to reflect of what’s more important in life and work on actions that can help clients to make their lives evolve."
Which topics come up most frequently in your coaching?
“Managing workload, energy and health, and maintaining balance in life.
Clarity in life - in the context of overwhelming reality, news, possibilities, offers, etc.
Career development in the fast-changing world and vis-a-vis AI. Perseverance, resilience and joy in life."
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from coaching others?
“We are all connected."
Can you tell us about your favorite moment throughout your coaching career? “There were many moments I liked in my coaching career. Every individual session is so. Once, a C-level manager told me he chose to work with me because I travel a lot and make art. Indeed, I’m having art exhibitions. He wanted to learn from me how to combine successfully passions and professional growth in life. I realized the essence of my uniqueness in that moment. "
What advice would you give someone starting their journey as a coachee? "Think about where you want to be in 10 years, how you want to live in 10 years, and what you want to do professionally in 10 years. 10 years is a good time perspective. You might think it is a lot of time. But be mindful that it will happen tomorrow."
What is your favorite motivational quote or mantra?
"I am."
What’s your favorite book, podcast, or movie related to personal development? "The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery."
